Flying Fleet Athletic Training Camp

The Erskine College Athletic Training Staff offers the Flying Fleet Athletic Training Camp for high school students who are interested in pursuing a career in Athletic Training.   This camp provides first hand experience and insight into the profession, as well as the Athletic Training Education Program at Erskine. The camp is structured provides days full of discussions, hands on lab experiences, and evening activities.  Students will become certified in American Red Cross CPR and AED during the course of the camp.  Options are available for commuters and over-night campers in our college dormitories located within walking distance of the Athletic Training Center.

Lectures are presented by the Erskine College ATEP Faculty, and team physicians.

Students will gain experience in the following areas:

• CPR/AED
  
• Injury Assessment
  
• Taping and Bracing
  
• Spine boarding
  
• Splinting
  
• Administration of Athletic Training

Evening activities include:
        

• Movies
  
• Swimming pool
  
• Games and activities
  
• Campus tour

Camp fees:

• Overnight campers: $300
  
• Day campers: $200
  
• Discounts are available for schools that send multiple students to camp
  
  

Camp fee includes all meals for overnight campers, and lunch for
day campers

A $25 key deposit is required for each camper, which will be refunded at the conclusion of camp, providing the key is turned in
