Music Scholarship Audition dates for 2011-12

Music Scholarship Auditions for the academic year 2011/2012 will take place on the following dates:
Friday, March 2nd, 2012
Saturday, March 31st, 2012
Saturday, May 5th, 2012

It is also possible to schedule an audition on another date when you are visiting us. Once the visit is scheduled, please contact Dr. Brad Parker at parker@erskine.edu to set a time and to ask any questions.

Audition Requirements

SINGERS
Prepare two contrasting pieces; one must be in a language other than English.  An accompanist can be provided, or you may bring your own (no pre-recorded accompaniments). Memorization is required.

PIANISTS
Prepare two contrasting selections or single movements of larger works. Memorization is required.

ORGANISTS
Prepare two contrasting pieces (memorization is optional)

ALL OTHER INSTRUMENTALISTS
Prepare two contrasting pieces (memorization is optional).  An accompanist can be provided, or you may bring your own (no pre-recorded accompaniments).

ACCOMPANISTS
If you require Erskine to provide an accompanist for your audition, you must send a copy of your music at least 2 weeks beforehand.
