•Important Note• - Erskine College uses information you provide on your application in awarding merit scholarships. It is to your advantage to take the time to answer each question on the application for admission.

Freshmen

Freshmen are students entering Erskine directly from high school. Upon graduation from high school, the applicant should have earned at least 14 units in college preparatory courses, including four in English and two in math, and at least five other units in history, science, Latin, modern foreign languages, advanced math, and English. The Admissions Committee does weigh AP and Honors courses taken.
Checklist

• An official high school transcript sent from the guidance office.
• A recommendation form completed and signed by a high school official, preferably the senior guidance counselor.
• An official report of your SAT or ACT scores. These scores may be recorded on the high school transcript.
• An official report of TOEFL scores if English is not your native language.


Transfers

Well-qualified students with 24 semester hours or more of college credit from a regionally accredited institution are encouraged to transfer to Erskine to continue their studies. They are expected to present a minimum of a 2.0 grade point ratio (on a 4.0 scale) in courses which correspond to those offered by Erskine. A transfer student with less than 24 hours of credit must meet the entrance requirements for both freshmen and transfer students. A student must be eligible to return to the college previously attended.

• An official transcript from ALL colleges attended. (Transfers must be in good standing with the last college attended.)
• A recommendation completed and signed by the registrar or dean of the last college attended.
