The year “2000” was so special for Jim and me! Our first miracle of last year was the birth of our first grandson, Cole Alexander Heiden, born March 15, 2000 to Elizabeth and Mart. He is adorable! We love being grandparents! Needless-to-say, we have put many miles on our car traveling to Atlanta.

The next blessing is our new daughter-in-law. Laura and Jimmy were married June 10, 2000 in Palm Beach. We are so thrilled. The wedding was beautiful and so very special!

The newlyweds have moved to Denver, Colorado. Laura is teaching forth grade and Jimmy has a job with Sun Microsystems. Jim and I enjoyed visiting last November. The boys played golf two days and on the third, it snowed!

During Thanksgiving we celebrated my Mother's 95th birthday with lots of family. Jim and I agreed that it was the best thanksgiving yet! We were really happy to have Matt's parents join us, since Cole was Baptized on Thanksgiving morning. Jim's parents are doing well and live close by.

For those of you who don't know, Jim is no longer in banking. We bought a rental business with two locations. He just loves running his own business. I have my insurance license and mainly work with AFLAC products. (Yes, the duck!) Our youngest son, John has recently decided to join the insurance field also.

We feel so very grateful that we have been able to spend time with our family and friends this past year... but miss and think about “ole” friends we haven't seen! Where do the years go? Jim and I would really enjoy hearing from you.
