Betty and I married July 23, 1972 on my birthday, so I NEVER forget our anniversary! We have lived in Gastonia since 1984. Betty and I both continue to work. I am the business manager of Pulcra Chemicals and Betty still teaches 3rd grade.

Our children, Jason and Carla, both have finished college, married, and are working.

Jason is a sales manager of THK and covers the Carolinas selling linear bearings. Carla teaches Spanish at King College.

We are thankful for our son-in-law, David, daughter-in-law, Mindy, and granddaughter, Anna. David is going to King College and is studying to be a nurse. Mindy, previously a teacher, now stays at home with Anna. Jason and Mindy expect their second child early January, 2008. Anna lives 2 blocks form us, and we see her often.

We are blessed with our four Christian kids and grandaughter.
