My sons, Chad (1976) and Seth (1978), are graduates of USC. Seth received his Bachelor's degree in December in Business and Chad received his MBA May 2001. We, like all parents, are so proud of our children.

Chad was able to spend a large part of last summer in Europe. He took a course from the University of Manchester and their class met each week in a different city: Rome, Paris, Prague, Madrid, Barcelona. He also toured before and after the class, even visiting the Van Gogh Museum in the Netherlands—he took in all he could of Scotland, England, Ireland and Italy.

While he was away, our other son, Seth, took a trip to Mexico. And where did Mom and Pop go?!--to our favorite get-a-way---Bonclarken! Not as exciting as our boys, but very enjoyable.

I retired in 2000 (from the gifted and talented program). I have time to do what I want to do now, which includes exercise, reading, working in the yard and wasting a lot of time. I hope to travel some but my husband, Phonzo, uses his time away from the business golfing. Maybe soon I can pry him away.

Our oldest son may work for his dad, if so then maybe he will have more time. Phonzo has a computer business. He is in business with another Erskine grad--Ervin Robinson.
