David Read

I retired from my position as a career counselor at Tri-County Tech in December '05 and was asked to continue part-time. So, I officially retired for one day and then had the opportunity to continue working with students, for a time.

In July '07, I accepted a full-time counseling position at Piedmont Health Group in Greenwood. It's a rather large private medical practice that also offers mental health counseling. This is my first venture into private counseling and has been an eye opener. I'm happy with it, though.

In 2009, I just accomplished my third and final (?) retirement and am looking forward to a more leisurely and less stressful schedule. I don’t have any definite plans for what I might do, but plan to take it easy for awhile until I get restless.

Judy continues to enjoy teaching part-time at Tri-County Tech.

Allison graduated from Erskine (2007) has actually started her first full semester at USC School of Library/Information Science. Over the years she fell in love with Erskine and hated leaving. She completed graduate work, and is now well into her first year as a librarian at West Virginia University.

We still live in Anderson and welcome classmates passing through to give us a call or come see us.
