Erskine College and Seminary marked the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday with a celebration Monday at Bowie Chapel on the seminary campus. J. Cedric Smith, left, was the featured speaker for the service, held in honor of the late civil rights leader who was assassinated in Memphis, Tenn., in April 1968.
