Charleston Mayor To Receive Third Annual Drummond Award

Charleston Mayor Joseph W. Riley Jr., left, has been named the recipient of the Drummond Award for Statesmanship. Riley will be presented the award March 29 at the third annual Drummond Award dinner in Columbia. The Drummond Center for Statesmanship was established at Erskine College to promote and perpetuate statesmanship in South Carolina through the encouragement of considered leadership, public service and personal excellence.
