Spartanburg mayor to receive Drummond Award for Statesmanship

Spartanburg Mayor William "Bill" Barnet III, left, will be presented the fifth annual Drummond Award for Statesmanship later this month. The Drummond Center of Erskine College Statesman of the Year banquet is set for April 24 at the Downtown Marriott in Columbia. A reception takes place at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m.
