Transplanted Midwesterner finds home at Erskine

Dr. Ashley Woodiwiss, left, spent 18 years at Wheaton College outside of Chicago, but when the opportunity came, he found it difficult to turn away a chance to return to the South. Woodiwiss, the first Grady Patterson Professor of Politics and the new director of the Drummond Center, said the way he wound up at Erskine College was "almost providential."
