History honor society secures division award

The Erskine College Chapter of Phi Alpha Theta (PAT), the international history honor society, recently received the organization's 2007 Nels A. Cleven Best Chapter Award for Division I, according to Professor of History Dr. Sandra Chaney, who serves as faculty sponsor for the group. For the past two years, PAT has taken part in voter registration efforts on campus. Members conducted a drive in Moffatt Dining Hall Oct. 4. Ashley Rhett, left, and Hannah Crisler were among students who stopped by the booth.
