Center Taps Tim Russert As Awards Speaker
Tim Russert, of NBC's "Meet the Press," will speak at the Drummond Center's first awards banquet Feb. 24. At the Drummond Center Board of Directors meeting held in Columbia Monday, Veterans Day, Sen. John Drummond, above, the former WWII pilot for whom the center is named, expressed his hope that "all the people who come after me will be affected in a positive way by this center."
