David Ritland Named 2003 Governor’s
Professor of the Year
If you hear the phrases "long hair" and "sense
of humor" on the Erskine College campus, odds are whoever’s
doing the talking is discussing Professor of Biology Dr. David B. Ritland,
who has been named 2003 South Carolina Governor's Professor of the Year.
The award, given annually by the S.C. Commission on Higher Education,
was presented to Ritland Nov. 13 at the Statehouse in Columbia.
