Sign of the Times

Those who think the academic village of Due West, S.C., shuts down for the summer when Erskine College students are away would be surprised to see the bustle that's taking place on campus and on Main Street. Downtown, one business fixture is changing hands, another has disappeared and there's about to be, pardon the pun, a new kid on the block.
