South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts Exhibit at Erskine's Bowie Arts Center June 1-14

Works from the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts will be on display June 1-14 at the Bowie Arts Center on the campus of Erskine College.

The exhibit will include outstanding paintings, photographs and prints. Admission is free and the public is welcome to view the exhibit.

Other works on display at the Bowie Arts Center include such permanent exhibits as the late Dr. Wofford Baldwin's world-class collection of mechanical musical instruments, the antique furniture collections of Marie T. Bowie and Louise Bell, and paintings on display in the Alex M. Patrick Gallery.s

Normal hours of operation for the Bowie Arts Center are Monday through Thursday, 1 to 4:30 p.m., Saturday, 2 to 4 p.m., and the first Sunday of the month, 2 to 4 p.m. The Center is also open by appointment. For further information, please phone the director, Margaret Adams, at 864-379-8867.
