Erskine's
New Billboard Campaign Focuses On Academics
Erskine College has
launched its billboard campaign this year with an emphasis on academics,
with three different ads featuring an outstanding student and two faculty
members.
The boards feature Erskine senior Dianna Plyler, the 2002 Independent
Colleges and Universities of South Carolina Student of the Year, physics
professor and former South Carolina Governor’s Professor of the
Year Dr. Bill Junkin, and biology professor and former Council for the
Advancement and Support of Education South Carolina Professor of the
Year Dr. David Ritland.
The three boards are currently up in Greenville at one location on Haywood
Road, near the Haywood Mall. The three Erskine boards can be seen in
succession at one location, rotating about every three seconds.
The Erskine Public Relations Office plans to put the three boards at
other locations in the state, and possibly at locations in Georgia and
North Carolina.
This billboard campaign marks the fifth consecutive year Erskine has
prepared outdoor advertising focusing on student recruitment.
