Fall Will Be Busy At Erskine

The college calendar for fall semester is nearing competion and it is packed with activities.

New to the September calendar are a two-day Back to School Bash to be held the 5 & 6, and the introduction of Hall Games. Hall games are a series of competitions pitting residents of various residence halls against one another in activities ranging from softball to Trivial Pursuit.

Both the men's and women's soccer and cross country teams begin competition in September. Both soccer teams open up on the road and then return for the home opener against rival Presbyterian on September 10. The men are scheduled to start at 5:30 and the women at 7:30.

Intramural football and a four-man volleyball tournament are also scheduled for September.

October activities include intramural volleyball, the continuation of Hall Games, and an 80s retro party.

On Wednesday, October 22, the men's soccer team will play the University of South Carolina in Due West at 7:00 p.m.

Homecoming highlights the November calendar.

Scheduled for November 15, homecoming will be held at the Flying Fleet men's basketball team's opening game. Tip off is at 2:00 p.m. at the Galloway Center with the selection of the homecoming queen at halftime.

The Erskine Players fall production "Dancing At Lugnasa" is scheduled for November 7,8,10 & 11.

December will feature the return of a Carolina Colonial Christmas on the 4th, 5th and 6th.
