Erskine Chapter Meetings Erskine Alumni Director Ralph Patterson has announced that three Erskine alumni chapters will meet during December. Patterson, who will be on hand to give a college and seminary news update at the meetings, said the Due West, Greenwood, Charleston, Gastonia, Statesville, Myrtle Beach and Mecklenburg/Rock Hill/York-Clover chapters met earlier in the fall. The December meetings are: Columbia Chapter Dec. 2 6:30 p.m. Home of Wilbur and Diane Tune Smith 1124 Glenwood Road, Columbia Asheville Chapter Dec. 9 6 p.m. Bonclarken Assembly Main Dining Room Flat Rock, N.C. Greenville Chapter Dec. 11 6 p.m. Greenville ARP Church 741 Cleveland Street, Greenville Chapter meetings will be scheduled after the holiday season for Aiken-Augusta, Rock Hill, Pee Dee (Florence), Chester/Lancaster, Spartanburg, Greater Knoxville, and the Tri-Cities. Patterson is also making plans for an alumni function at Furman University on Tuesday, January 13, 2004. The Flying Fleet men’s basketball team plays at Furman. The alumni association will host a pre-game get-together and Coach Mark Peeler will address the group before taking on the Paladins. A young alumni function is in the works. The alumni association will have a luxury suite at a Greenville Grrrowl hockey game at the Bi-Lo Center in Greenville.
