SUBJECT: CHAMBER MUSIC RECITAL OFFERED AT ERSKINE COLLEGE

for immediate release

DUE WEST, SC - The Erskine College Department of Art and Music will sponsor a faculty/guest artist chamber recital on Tuesday, March 18, at 8 p.m. in Memorial Hall. The concert will feature faculty pianist Dr. Matthew Manwarren along with other music faculty members, including clarinetist Dr. Brent Coppenbarger, soprano Deirdre Francis, and guest violinist/violist Dr. Cynthia Scully of Texas Tech University. Works on the program will include Mozart's "Kegelstadt Trio," Schubert's "Shepherd on the Rock" and "Sonatina for Violin and Piano," and Brahms' "First Sonata for Clarinet and Piano."

General admission is $5 for adults, $3 for youths 18 and under. For more information, please call the Department of Art and Music at 379-8709.
