Erskine Announces Fall Arts Schedule

From Shakespeare done in sneakers to songs Jane Austen might have sung, Erskine College will offer a variety of arts experiences this fall.

Highlighting the autumn offerings in drama and music are performances by the Shenandoah Shakespeare Express on Sept. 25, soprano Julianne Baird with “Music From the Jane Austen Notebooks” on Oct. 5, and the American String Quartet on Oct. 26.

At the Bowie Arts Center, the exhibit “We Are Who We Were—A Sea Island Legacy” looks at a chapter in the story of African American culture in South Carolina.
