Students, faculty and staff sample drinks and pastries

Erskine Food Service Director Randy Moore hosted a sneak preview of "Java City" yesterday, inviting students, faculty and staff to sample some of the drinks and pastries that will be available for purchase when the new coffee and smoothie bar opens officially Monday, Sept. 15.

"It looks sleek," said Erskine Student Activities Director Brooke Clinton. "The plan is to remove the entrance doors to Snapper's and the T.V. Room and allow the whole area to flow. I think the students are going to love it."

Regular hours for Java City, beginning Monday, are as follows:

Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

Monday through Wednesday 7 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Thursday and Friday 9 p.m. - 1 a.m.
