NOTES: Today is March 17, 1997, and Erskine College has announced an electronic newsletter called "EC Netnews," a weekly newsletter delivered by email with links to Erskine's home page on the world wide web, located at www.erskine.edu ... EC Netnews will arrive via email to subscriber's computers at the beginning of each week, and staff, faculty and students will be automatically subscribed, as well as the growing number of alumni who have informed the college of their email addresses ... EC Netnews is a graphic-designed email with direct links to specific subjects on the Erskine web site, which has grown to more than 150 pages ... EC Netnews will replace The Tuesday Morning Pick-Up as Erskine's weekly newsletter, and will highlight the weekly college schedule, including convo, chapel, fine arts and athletics ...Are you wearing green? Today is St. Patrick's Day ... The national flower of Ireland, the Shamrock, can be found in plentiful amounts in the Due West area, according to Biology Professor Dr. Jan Haldeman, who added that many people deal with Shamrock as a common lawn weed ... Sunday is Palm Sunday, which will be followed by Good Friday and Easter on the 30th ... Erskine students are excited about Spring Break, which begins Monday ... The Abbeville County Public School Art Show is on display at Bowie Arts Center, open 1:30-4:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday ...
