Offices will be closed Friday afternoon in observance of Good Friday ... The undefeated Lady Fleet softball team is spending its spring break on the road, playing 10 games in 5days in Florida ... The science building steering committee is now complete with the addition of Leo Hill and David Chesnut ... More than $4.6 million of the $7 million construction goal has been received, and more than $770,000 has been received toward the $3 million endowed upkeep fund ... The advance phase of the science building campaign is under way and the general phase will begin this summer ... Groundbreaking is anticipated in May, and the building is expected to be completed by the fall of 1998 ... The Abbeville County Public School Art Show is on display through March 31 at Bowie Arts Center, open 1:30-4:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday ... Also at the Bowie Arts Center, "Passport to an International Exhibition," works by Clinton artist William P. Jacobs will be on display through the end of April ...
