The Last Week of Classes

This is the week of May 5, 1995...May 5 is 'Cinco de Mayo' or 'Fifth of May', which is the day Mexico celebrates the defeat of invaders at the town of Puebla on May 5, 1862 during the second French invasion; Cinco de Mayo is celebrated in Mexico, but has developed into a very popular celebration with Mexicans in the United States and more recently, American fans of Mexican food, music, and culture...This is the last week of classes for spring term...Honors day is Tuesday at Convocation...The Senior Skit is Thursday at Convo...Exams start Monday and last through Thursday.
