Non-Credit Mini-Sessions Offer Variety of Opportunities

DUE WEST, S.C. – A dozen non-credit mini-sessions are listed in this year's “Erskine Exposure” brochure for Winter Term. This week, courses range from instruction on Arbonne gift baskets (taught by Theresa Tessier) to ham radio operation (by Franklin Mitchell).

Also on tap are basic car mechanics (Monty Wooley), budgeting (Phil Phillips of The Palmetto Bank), interior design (Sylvia Phillips of Ashford Interiors), mask-making (Bess Farley), and a hiking trip (Robyn Agnew, Kendall Poppell, Jason Peevy).

The dinner party course (taught by Sarah Ellen Carson) had its initial meeting last week and held a dinner party Jan. 7, and next week courses on interview skills (Emelyn Jones, Class of 1986) and wedding planning (Peggy Hammett, wedding consultant) will be offered.

The last mini-session will be held the following week on Monday, Jan. 25 and is on resume’ writing, taught by Penny Thomas.
