BMW F650 Erskine Parent Association Council Announces Silent Auction Centerpiece The Parent Association Council (PAC) has announced that one of the items up for bid at the Silent Auction at Erskine College on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2002, is a new BMW F650 Cruising Motorcycle. The minimum bid will be $7,500. In addition to the final bid amount, the winner will pay taxes and licensing fees to BMW. BMW has requested that the winner pay by a certified check. BMW’s web site at www.bmwmotorcycles.com offers more information about the F650. The Silent Auction is an annual PAC event held to raise money for Erskine students. Last year's auction items included beach and mountain vacation homes, jewelry, plants, trees, ornaments, baskets and autographed items. The PAC welcomes donations of new bid items. Please deliver bid items to Penny Thomas by Friday, October 25, 2002. Questions regarding the BMW 650 or donating an auction item should be directed to Don Johnson at (704) 364-6272 or Gloria Johnson at (704) 362-3909. The Silent Auction begins at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, and runs until 1:30 p.m.
