Page Wins CVAC Runner of the Week: Cross Country
Finishes Season
Erskine Senior Sandy Page (Columbia, S.C./Ben
Lippen School) has been named CVAC women's cross
country Runner of the Week for October 11-17, 1999.
Page led the Flying Fleet to a 2nd place finish in
the Erskine Invitational. She ran the course in 20
minutes and 46 seconds for a 3rd place finish overall
out of 75 runners. Her course time was only one
second off her own school record, which she set last
season at the CVAC conference tournament.
The cross county teams finished the season with
the men in 6th place, and the women in 3rd place
overall in CVAC.
Erskine College is a member of the
Carolinas-Virginia Athletic Conference in NCAA
Division II.
