Summer Programs 2004

The summer schedule of programs at Erskine College includes a summer term beginning June 1, with approximately 100 students expected to attend, and a number of returning sports, band, and other camps, including the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA).

The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards will bring some 85-100 rising high school juniors and seniors to the Erskine campus June 6-12 for a week of training in leadership techniques. Led by Erskine basketball coaches Mark and Maggie Peeler, the 22nd annual seminar will feature business, political and community leaders as guest speakers, including several from the Erskine community.

Randy Moore, director of campus dining services, said Moffatt Dining Hall will reopen at supper Monday, May 31, and remain open through Aug. 7. Snapper's and Java City will have limited hours Monday through Friday during the summer, with Snapper's open from 5-6:30 p.m. and Java City open from 9-11 a.m.

The Erskine pool is currently open every day from 1:30-5 p.m. as well as Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7-9. Admission is $4 per person, free with Erskine I.D.
