Erskine Choraleers To Sing In Hymn Festival The Erskine College Choraleers will be a featured choir at a Festival of Hymns to be held Sunday, Sept. 28, at First Presbyterian Church in Greenwood. The hymn festival, entitled "Through the Church the Song Goes On," is one of a series of music events, with visiting musician Dr. John Ferguson of St. Olaf College, co-sponsored by Erskine College and Seminary and First Presbyterian Church. Erskine music students are attending two workshops led by Ferguson,"The World of Church Music," held yesterday in Bowie Divinity Hall, and "Composition and Arranging for Average Churches" scheduled for today. Ferguson is Eliot and Klara Stockdahl Johnson Professor of Organ and Church Music and Minister of Music to the Student Congregation at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn. The hymn festival, "Through the Church the Song Goes On" is scheduled for 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, and will include choirs from Presbyterian College and First Presbyterian Church as well as the Erskine College Choraleers.
