Softball Signs New Player To National Letter Of Intent

Erskine College head softball coach Alleen Hawkins has announced the signing of Crescent High School outfielder Amber Price to a National Letter of Intent.

The signing of Price brings much-needed speed to the Erskine softball program. She will have the opportunity to start in the Fleet's outfield as a freshman, and is the first true leadoff hitter Coach Hawkins has had in her two years at Erskine.

"I am ecstatic that we were able to sign Amber," said Hawkins. "This is a huge addition for the Erskine softball program. I believe she will step in and help the team reach its goal of a CVAC championship."
