Gold Campaign Web Site To Serve Erskine Alumni And Friends


The Gold Campaign Web site offers alumni and friends of Erskine College and Seminary an easy way to get the latest information about the largest capital campaign in Erskine's history.

"The Web site has a news link featuring the latest campaign news," said Erskine Director of Marketing and Publications Julie Miner, who designed the site. "It contains in-depth information about each of the eight goals of the campaign, including architectural drawings of planned construction and renovation projects and specific goal amounts."

Miner said a form on the site will allow donors to make gifts on-line using a credit card. A graphic on the site, to be updated periodically, will track campaign progress in dollars pledged.

The first of a series of Gold Campaign newsletters is scheduled to be published in January, and will be available on the Web site.

"I think there is a growth in Web sites like this one as we move into an era when people want quick and comfortable access to information," Miner said. "Also, because the Web site can be accessed anywhere in the world, it will help expose the mission and purpose of Erskine to people who might otherwise never have heard about Erskine."
