Saturday, August 7, 2010

**Book Store will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.**
**Financial Aid Office will be open from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.**

9:00 – 9:30 a.m. Registration and Refreshments “Under the Towers” – In front of the Erskine Building

  2. Campus Life - Bowie Arts Center
    Student Services, Career Services, Campus Ministry, Health Services & Counseling, Residence Life, Campus Safety, Aramark
  3. Financial Aid - Bowie Chapel – Seminary Building
    Financial Aid details will be discussed in a group setting. An opportunity to meet “one-on-one” with Financial Aid personnel is available from
    1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Financial Aid Office located on the 3rd floor of Belk Hall.
  4. Athletics - Lesesne Auditorium – Erskine Building
    Focus will be on NCAA and Conference Carolinas requirements for collegiate athletes.

12:30 – 1:30 p.m. Lunch - Moffatt Dining Hall
When possible, you will be seated with the family of your student’s roommate.
**Representatives from Bank of America, BB&T, Countybank, and First Citizens will be in Moffatt to discuss local banking opportunities.**

The number on your name tag represents the table you have been assigned to for lunch.
The letter represents the small group you have been assigned to for the afternoon session.

1:45 – 2:45 p.m. - Small Group Sessions - Daniel Moultrie Science Center, Bowie Arts Center, and Bell Conference Room. Members of the Parent Advisory Council will lead discussion groups.

3:00 – 4:00 p.m. - Refreshments & Residence Hall Time - Carnegie & Grier Residence Halls
Join your student for refreshments on the porch of his/her residence hall. Visit your student’s room, take measurements, and plan the room set-up.
**Representatives from Charter Communications and West Carolina Tel will be in the main lobby to discuss local cable and telephone services.**
