Quink Vocal Ensemble
Memorial Hall, 7:30 p.m.
Formed in 1978, this Dutch group of five
professional singers has been touring the United States since 1985. Quink's repertoire ranges from early Renaissance to music from our own era.
Admission $5, free with Erskine I.D.

Permanent Collection
Bowie Arts Center
Selected works from the Bowie Arts Center's permanent collection will be on display during the month of February.

Fine Arts Series:
Amelia Piano Trio
Memorial Hall, 7:30 p.m.
This chamber ensemble has been featured as ensemble-in-residence on National Public Radio's “Performance Today” and is noted for intriguing programs, ranging from complete Beethoven Piano Trio cycles to collaborations with masters of other disciplines.

The Erskine College Department of Music welcomes the Ashbrook High School Choir, directed by Norman F. McGill III, a member of the Erskine College Class of 1982. The choir will perform with the Erskine Choraleers.

Permanent Collection"
Bowie Arts Center
Displayed for the first time in the state of South Carolina, this exhibit features works by children and adults who have some form of muscular dystrophy.

Sinfonia Spring Concert
Memorial Hall, 8 p.m.
The Erskine College Department of Music presents Erskine's instrumental ensemble, Sinfonia, directed by Dr. Brooks Kuykendall.

Dedicatory Recital
Memorial Hall, 3 p.m.
Dr. Matthew Manwarren, former professor of music at Erskine College, offers a dedicatory recital on the new Steinway concert grand piano, a gift of the Class of 1951.

Department of Music Concert
Memorial Hall, 8 p.m.
The Erskine College Department of Music presents Benjamin Britten's cantata "Rejoice in the Lamb" as well as scenes from Aaron Copland's "The Tender Land."

The Rev. Charles Edgar, Moderator of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian General Synod, speaks to students, faculty and staff.

Executive Vice President and Dean
Dr. Donald Weatherman, executive vice president and dean of the college, addresses students, faculty and staff.

Feb. 14
Dr. Barbara Williams-Skinner
Williams-Skinner and her late husband, the Rev. Tom Skinner, chaplain to the Washington Redskins football and New York Yankees baseball teams, founded Skinner Leadership Institute, which provides leadership development and reconciliation training for current and emerging leaders, students and urban youth.

This convocation is devoted to nominations for the office of Student Government Association president.

This convocation will feature speeches from candidates running for the office of Student Government Association president.

Nominations for leadership positions other than SGA president will be conducted during convocation.

Convocation time will be used to hear speeches from candidates for leadership positions.

Bart Campolo
Campolo, leader of Walnut Hills Fellowship, Cincinnati, Ohio, is an urban minister and
activist. He is also the founder of "Mission Year," a Christian ministry that recruits young adults to live and work in inner-city neighborhoods. Note: Campolo will also speak the evening of April 16, time and location to be announced.

Honors Day
Achievements of students, faculty and staff are recognized at the Honors Day convocation.

Chapel and Convocation events begin at 11 a.m. in Lesesne Auditorium unless otherwise noted.
