The Erskine Department of Music will offer a Fall Homecoming Concert Friday, Oct. 27, at 6 p.m. in Bowie Divinity Hall Chapel.
The concert will spotlight sacred music, with the Choraleers presenting works by Ernani Aquiar, David Haas, Lloyd Larson, Franz Schubert, and others.
The program also includes Bella Voce, a women’s ensemble, singing Eleanor Farjeon’s “Morning Has Broken,” arranged by John Rutter, as well as Moses Hogan’s “I Am His Child.”
The Chamber Singers will perform “Cry Out and Shout” by Knut Nysted and “Reap What You Sow” by Pepper Choplin.
Assistant Professor of Music Dr. Keith Timms will conduct the choirs, and Prof. Tobi Otekayi will serve as accompanist.
Timms said several of the pieces will be accompanied by student instrumentalists.
