Meet the Admissions Team

Dr. Tim Rees – Dean of Enrollment

Hello, everyone! I am the Dean of Enrollment Management here at Erskine, which means I have the pleasure of working with the admissions and financial aid offices. I have worked in higher education for almost 15 years in exclusively Christian institutions. Prior to that I worked in the insurance industry and served in the Marines with my last duty station being in Greenville, SC. What I like most about working at a school like Erskine is the close-knit community and ability to assist students one-on-one. At bigger colleges that is not always possible. Everyone I have met in my time here really enjoys what they do and where they get to do it. I think it can be best described as a family. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our youngest son as well as being active in church activities.

Kasey McNair – Director Of Admissions

Hey, y’all! I am the Director of Admissions for Erskine College after serving two years as an Admissions Counselor. I grew up in Abbeville, South Carolina, about 12 miles away from Due West. I graduated from Erskine College in 2017 with a degree in Mathematics and Business Administration. During my four years as a student, I worked in the Admissions Office as an Ambassador and fell in love with working with students and helping them make their college decision. I was also involved in the Choraleers and Bella Voce music ensembles, as well as Judicial Council, VASE, and EEB while at Erskine. My favorite things to do are read, serve my church and community, and travel everywhere I can! I also love all things pink, and the beach is my favorite place to go! I can’t wait to chat with you about Erskine and help you find your college home.

Kendra LaGreca – Coordinator of Admissions Events and Operations

Hello! I’m the Coordinator of Admissions Events and Operations here at Erskine. Even though I graduated from Lander University, I’ve lived right outside of Due West for my entire life, and I’m so thankful to work in a place that feels like home to me. When I’m not at work, I love to spend time with my husband, my new baby boy, and my dog, Duchess. Life has gotten a lot busier lately, but in my free time, I still enjoy reading, traveling, and playing board games. I’m excited to talk to you and help you plan your next visit to Erskine.

Hunter Sells – Admissions Counselor

Greetings! My name is Hunter Sells, and I am an Admissions Counselor here at Erskine College. Originally from Charlotte, I completed both my B.A. and M.A.L.S. at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. As an undergrad, I majored in History, and as a graduate student, I was part of an interdisciplinary program where I studied philosophy and religion. My hobbies include reading as well as traveling along the coast of the Carolinas. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you have concerning the admissions process, and I hope to see you become the newest member of the Flying Fleet!

David Pendergrass – Accelerated Ministry Program Counselor

What’s going on, everyone? My name is David Pendergrass, and I am your friendly neighborhood Accelerated Ministry Program Counselor here at Erskine College! Born and raised in the Metro-Atlanta area, I came to Due West as a student in 2008. I was involved with everything from SGA to Student Life to Choraleers to Literary Societies, also serving as class president my senior year. Like many Erskine students, I met my wife here, and we now have two kids and a slew of pets. After I graduated in 2012 with a B.A. in Biblical Studies, God took me on a journey far outside what I expected when I completed my degree. Before coming back to Erskine College to work, I started a small business, and I credit this institution with helping me to be prepared for such a venture. When not assisting students as they prepare for a life after high school, I enjoy Marvel comics (Spider-Man to be specific) and a good theology book. I look forward to getting to know you better as you look at how Erskine could be your college home! Reach out, and let’s start a conversation.

Amanda Pruitt – Admissions Counselor

Hey y’all!  My name is Amanda Pruitt, and I’m an Admissions Counselor here at Erskine. I graduated from Erskine in 2014 with a B.A. in History, and my four years here were absolutely amazing! I remember the impact my Admissions Counselor had on me in helping me make my college decision, and I always wanted to come back and serve Erskine in some way. I’m so excited that I get the opportunity to do that now!  In my spare time, I love hanging out with my husband and family, going to the movies, journaling, and visiting local coffee shops. I can’t wait to talk and get to know you and help you learn about all that Erskine has to offer you!

William Cooper – Admissions Counselor

My name is William Cooper. I attended Erskine from 2009 until 2013, during which time I majored in History and was on the leadership team for Baptist Collegiate Ministries. After graduating, I spent two years teaching English in South Korea and then worked my way into college admissions. I very much see my position here as a ministry to help students determine if Erskine is a place where they can not only grow intellectually, but also enrich their relationship with Christ. Outside of work, my passions include reading, jogging, and going on mission trips to Africa.

Bryce Pruitt – Data Coordinator

Good day to you, sirs and madams! My name is Bryce Pruitt, and my adventure at Erskine took place from 2009 to 2013. During this time, I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics; I then furthered my education during the next 5-6 years by obtaining two Master’s degrees, both in Mathematics, from College of Charleston and Clemson University. While my job description usually means I will be interacting more with numbers than students, I do help my fellow Admissions coworkers reach as many students as possible. A few things I enjoy are video games, comic book movies, reading, and making people laugh.  Although I may not interact with students as much as the rest of the Admissions staff, my door is always open if you want to talk!
