DESCRIPTION:Fall on the Mall is our annual fall festival event that is hosted by Residence Life for the benefit of local families and children in the surrounding communities. Last year we had over 200 children attend this event! There will be tables set up on the Mall which are hosted by different groups passing out candy and providing fun activities for children to participate in – children are encouraged to come dressed in costume! DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]The 40th Annual Joseph T. Stukes lecture will be held Monday\, February 23 in the Founders Room of Moffatt Dining Hall. Students\, faculty\, staff\, and the public are welcome to attend. Admission is free![/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]Dr. Martha Merritt is dean and the Carole M. Weinstein Chair of Global Education at the University of Richmond. \nShe has lived and worked in five countries\, including four years at Oxford University where she earned her doctorate in Russian politics. She has taught political science and peace studies\, and guided global engagement for Richmond\, the University of Notre Dame\, and the University of Chicago. Her priorities are connecting the local and global as well as deepening faculty and student connection abroad. \nFleet Fellowship credit will be offered for this event.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]The Joseph T. Stukes Lecture series brings a distinguished lecturer in history to Erskine College each year. The fund was established by students and colleagues of Stukes\, who served as professor of history and vice president for academic affairs at Erskine College.
