Accelerated Ministry Program Counselor and Church Relations Coordinator

Originally from Lilburn, Georgia, David Pendergrass is Church Relations Coordinator and Accelerated Ministry Program Counselor at Erskine College, a position he has held since September 2019. He is an alumnus of the College and a current student at Erskine Theological Seminary.
During his years as an Erskine College student, Pendergrass served in the Student Government Association and was president for the class of 2012. He also worked as a Resident Assistant, joined the Euphemian literary society, sang in three choral ensembles, and was active in campus life through activities such as intramurals, ministry, and work study. He majored in Bible and Religion with a minor in Politics.
In 2016, Pendergrass began to create and sell wholly natural grooming supplies through his small business, The Blessed Beard. He also enjoys reading, studying, and thinking about faith, politics, and the intersection of the two. Pendergrass and his wife Allison Bassett Pendergrass, a 2009 graduate of Erskine College and 2012 graduate of Erskine Seminary, have two children.
