Profile
Ms. Florence graduated from Lander College with a B.S. degree in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation. After graduation, she completed a M.S. degree in Physical Education from Winthrop College. In 2001, she received a M.A. in Elementary Administration and Supervision from Furman University. She earned her National Board Certification in Physical Education in 2009. She taught in the public-school setting for 31 years. She has been an adjunct instructor teaching Physical Education methods’ classes at Erskine College over the last several years. Upon retiring from the public-school system in the Spring of 2021, she now enjoys teaching full time in the Education Department at Erskine College. In her spare time, Ms. Florence enjoys walking, playing golf, and traveling.
