Profile

Sandy M. Robinson, Associate Professor of Education, began her work at Erskine College as an adjunct instructor in 2011 and joined the faculty in 2019. She currently serves as the department chair and teaches introductory early childhood and elementary education courses, methods, field experience, and clinical courses.

Robinson earned B.S. and M.Ed. degrees in elementary education from Clemson University. She has 13 years of experience teaching third and fourth grade in the public school system. At Erskine, she serves as coordinator for the Council for the Accreditation of Education Preparation (CAEP), chair of the Teacher Education Committee, LiveText coordinator, advisor for the student organization Epsilon Sigma Tau, and as an advisor on the Curriculum Committee.

Personal Interests

Robinson resides in Due West, S.C., with her husband and two children. She is an active member of Honea Path First Baptist Church where she serves as a Sunday school teacher, Youth Lead team member, New Member Committee volunteer, Vacation Bible School worker, and nursery worker.
