Tracy McCurry

Profile

Tracy McCurry serves as the department chair for Economics and Business. She teaches courses in business administration with a general focus in marketing. Since joining the faculty in 2010, her classes have been recognized several times in Greenwood’s Index-Journal for projects benefiting the local community. Her classes have worked with Big Oaks Animal Rescue, PAWS, the Greenwood Humane Society, and The Renaissance—a retirement community in Due West—as well as other organizations. McCurry also started Erskine’s founding chapter of Sigma Beta Delta, a business honor society, and currently serves as chapter advisor.

Vocational Background

Before coming to Erskine, McCurry worked in mortgage banking, financial accounting, non-profit marketing, and manufacturing and quality control engineering.

Personal Interests

In her free time, McCurry enjoys spending time with family and traveling. In fact, she is a certified travel agent and teaches classes in the areas of hospitality and tourism. She also enjoys reading and makes it her goal to read 60 books each year.
