Alumna to appear on popular game show Feb. 19

Susan Turner with Daisy and Izzy

Susan Elizabeth Turner, a member of the Erskine College Class of 2005, will appear on Wheel of Fortune as a contestant during Pet Lovers Week. The show will air Feb. 19, 2013.

Coal Train

Taping of the show took place in November. Turner, who has two dogs, Daisy and Izzy, and a horse, Coal Train, said, “It was so much fun. It was a truly amazing experience!”

Turner teaches fifth grade math at Savannah Grove Elementary School, Florence, S.C. In addition to teaching and other activities, she reports she is a demonstrator for  Stampin’ Up!  “A group of ladies get together with me once a month, and I teach them different ways to make pretty cards.”

Turner is excited about the airing of the show. “I can’t wait for everyone to see Wheel of Fortune,” she said.

And in case anyone needs a reminder: “The air date will be February 19 at 7 on CBS.  It was so awesome!”
