Kendall Cole, a junior biology major from Williamston, was named Miss Erskine Saturday at a pageant  sponsored by the Athenian Literary Society. Ali Rogers, Miss South Carolina, served as a guest performer and judge.

Chosen as first runner-up was Anna Thies, a senior business administration major from Fort Mill; selected as second runner-up was Meghan Matthews, a senior chemistry major from Mocksville, N.C.

The pageant theme was “April in Paris,” and Lesesne Auditorium was decorated for the event. Proceeds went to Relay for Life, a fund-raiser for the American Cancer Society.
