Erskine to host booth at ‘World Focus’

logoErskine will participate in “World Focus” June 12-13, an event coinciding with the 2014 ARP Synod meeting at Bonclarken Conference Center in Flat Rock, N.C.

Erskine College and Theological Seminary, along with Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) will host a booth, and both the seminary and college will present sessions for prospective students, parents, and others.

Among the sessions offered will be “The Importance of a Seminary Education” and “Erskine College: Outreach to Brazil.”

Last year, a group of Erskine students, alumni, and staff members participated in a medical mission trip to Brazil, assisting medical personnel on the J.J. Mesquita, a specially equipped riverboat.

Dr. Mark Ross, John R. de Witt Professor of Systematic Theology and Director of the Institute for Reformed Worship, will be speaking Thursday, June 12, during a time of worship set to begin at 7 p.m.

Also on hand for World Focus will be representatives from ARP Magazine, the ARP Foundation, ARP Women’s Ministries, Outreach North America, and World Witness.

A World Focus Preview is planned for June 11.
