Student organizations offer “Paint-a-Pollock” on the Mall

Pollock Sunglasses holding shirtThe Philos joined with the Erskine Entertainment Board to sponsor a Jackson Pollock-style “drip art” session on the Erskine Mall Tuesday afternoon, celebrating St. Patrick’s Day and the approach of spring in colorful style. “Paint-a-Pollock” was hosted by the Visual Art Society of Erskine (VASE).

Each student who participated received a free t-shirt to decorate. White shirts flecked with bright paint made an eye-catching display against the backdrop of green grass where they were left to dry.

The Philos hosted a St. Patrick’s Day party that evening and gave $1 off admission to students wearing their decorated shirts.
