Greenville author to offer reading in Hangar

Deb Richardson-Moore, a 2005 graduate of Erskine Theological Seminary who is pastor of Triune Mercy Center in Greenville and the author of two books (with a third in progress) will visit the Erskine campus Thursday, March 2. She will read passages from her work at 7 p.m. in the Hangar. Convocation credit is offered for this event.

Formerly a writer for The Greenville News, Richardson-Moore, who spoke at an Erskine convocation in 2013, is the author of The Weight of Mercy, an account of her work with the homeless at Triune Mercy Center, and The Cantaloupe Thief, her first work of fiction. She is working on The Cover Story, set for publication in June.

Richardson-Moore will meet privately with one of Dr. Christine Schott’s writing classes during the day. A question-and-answer session will follow the author’s reading in the Hangar.
