Spring Concert Poster 2017 jpgStudents, faculty, staff, and community members are invited to Erskine’s annual spring choral concert Friday, April 28 at 7:30 p.m. in Memorial Hall. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted to help fund the Choraleers’ June mission trip to Lithuania.

The Choraleers, Chamber Singers, and Bella Voce—directed by Assistant Professor of Music Education and Director of Choral Activities Dr. Keith Timms and accompanied by Prof. Tobi Otekayi—will offer a program featuring literary texts by e.e. Cummings, William Shakespeare, and Alfred, Lord Tennyson.

“The groups will be performing a wide variety of musical styles, consisting of Scottish and Venezuelan folk songs, inspirational and patriotic pieces, and Broadway and pop standards,” Timms said. “Selections include arrangements by such noted composers as Moses Hogan, David Dickau, James Mulholland, and Z.
