‘Is Christianity a Killjoy Religion?’ to be chapel speaker’s topic Feb. 13

The Rev. Matthew Miller, who serves as director of Erskine Theological Seminary’s extension site in Greenville, S.C., will examine the question “Is Christianity a Killjoy Religion?” at an Erskine chapel service Tuesday, Feb. 13, at 11 a.m. in the Due West ARP Church. He will take as his text I John 1:1-4.

Formerly senior pastor of the Greenville ARP Church, Miller earned the M.Div. degree at Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte in 2004 and the Th.M. degree at Erskine Theological Seminary in 2015. He has done additional study at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland; Harvard Divinity School; University of Lausanne, Switzerland; and Duke Divinity School.

Miller and his wife Lindsay have three children. He is working on a Doctor of Ministry degree at Erskine Seminary.
