Homecoming 2024 events and activities planned for Sept. 28
Erskine Homecoming 2024 is set for Saturday, Sept. 28, with activities on campus for Homecoming, Family Day, and Fall Preview Day. Check out an updated schedule here.
Registration for all events Saturday begins at 10 a.m. with Homecoming registration under the Watkins Breezeway, Family Day registration on the Watkins Porch, and Fall Preview Day registration at the Alumni House at the corner of Main Street and Washington.
Alumni and friends can get an early start on Homecoming with fun and fellowship at the 51st Annual Erskine Open Golf Tournament Friday, Sept. 27, at 9 a.m. at The Links at Stoney Point on Lake Greenwood. Register for the Erskine Open here.
Entertainment available on the Mall from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. includes family and student games and inflatables; pictures taken with Erskine’s mascot, Ace; and music performed by Sadie and Cal (Sadie Bradley Boykin ’23 and Cal Boykin ’23). Food trucks will be in the vicinity from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the Fleet Shop will be open from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and the Grumpy Mule, Erskine’s coffee shop, will be open from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
In addition to activities on the Mall, there will be a display from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Belk Hall Lobby in honor of the 185th anniversary of Erskine’s founding; a Meet & Greet with Erskine faculty members in the Daniel•Moultrie Science Center atrium from 11 a.m. to noon; and a college update from Erskine President Dr. Steve Adamson at 11 a.m. in the Daniel•Moultrie Science Center Auditorium.
The Flying Fleet’s Homecoming Football game against Delta State University—at 4 p.m. at J.W. Babb Stadium in Greenwood—finishes off the afternoon’s activities. Tickets for the game will be available starting Sept. 14. Purchase tickets here.
Class events planned for Homecoming include a Class of 1974 luncheon in the Bowie Arts Center, a reunion of the Class of 2004 at the Cox Barn in Donalds, and a gathering of the Class of 1999 in the Alumni House.
