Rescheduled Erskine events are coming up soon
Erskine Homecoming 2024 has been rescheduled for Saturday, Nov. 2, with activities on campus for Homecoming, Family Day, and Fall Preview Day. Check out an updated schedule here.
Registration for all events Saturday begins at 10 a.m. with Homecoming registration under the Watkins Breezeway and Family Day registration on the Watkins Porch. Prospective students attending Fall Preview Day will register in Memorial Hall.
Alumni and friends can get an early start on Homecoming with fun and fellowship at the 51st Annual Erskine Open Golf Tournament, rescheduled for Thursday, Oct. 31, with registration at 9 a.m. and shotgun start at 10 a.m. at the Greenwood Country Club. Register for the Erskine Open here.
Entertainment available on the Mall from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. includes family and student games and inflatables; pictures taken with Erskine’s mascot, Ace; and music performed by Sadie and Cal (Sadie Bradley Boykin ’23 and Cal Boykin ’23). Food trucks will be on hand from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The Fleet Shop will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the Grumpy Mule, Erskine’s coffee shop, will be open from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
In addition to activities on the Mall, there will be a display from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Belk Hall Lobby in honor of the 185th anniversary of the founding of Erskine College and a Meet & Greet with Erskine faculty members in the Daniel•Moultrie Science Center atrium from 11 a.m. to 12 noon.
A reception and art exhibit at the Bowie Arts Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. will feature brunch hors d’oeuvres from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and artist presentations from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Come and enjoy “The Word Made Visible” by Grace Carol Bomer and “Piercing the Veil” by Brian Hibbard.
The Flying Fleet’s Homecoming football game vs. University of West Florida is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at J.W. Babb Stadium in Greenwood. Purchase tickets here.
Class events planned for Homecoming include alumni reunions on the Mall. Women’s and Men’s Soccer will play on Huggins Field at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
